Heal the world

Hello World!

My name is Andrew Ramsden and for as long as I can remember I’ve been deeply drawn to two things… technology, and helping people.

I remember from a very young age being fascinated by my best friend Adam Chambost and his XT computer (world class at the time). I’m forever grateful for what he taught me about programming it to do calculations and build simple games we could then play together.

But I can thank my parents for my desire to help others. They modelled this for me from an early age. They always sacrificed a lot for us, and gave a lot of themselves to their friends, family and community groups. They also instilled in me a sense of what’s right and fair and good in the world. This became an innate drive within me to make a positive impact in the world.

But I didn’t know how. For many years this desire, drive and dream seemed out of reach. Too hard. Why bother. It’s scary! Better to keep my sights small and return to focusing on the day-to-day survival and hedonistic treadmill. Don’t get me wrong, my work always aligned with the greater good, and I pushed myself very hard to make a positive impact, but at the same time I mostly just felt defeated by the big problems I knew were out there brewing in the world, or already happening.

Striving so hard, while carrying such fear, limiting beliefs, emotional baggage, self-doubt and anxiety took its toll on my health, both psychically, mentally and spiritually. It was a rough ride!

It’s only over the past 8 years or so I became aware of the community of coaches, therapists and healers in Australia and around the world and the incredible work they do in healing and transforming peoples’ lives.

I was sceptical at first. A real stick in the mud. If it wasn’t scientifically proven, then I wasn’t open to applying it in my life. But over time I realised how limiting this mindset is. If it works, it’s useful. If it’s useful, then use it! USEFUL > CORRECT every time.

This shift in mindset helped me to try out all the different modalities I previously thought were just plain mad, from: yoga to mindfulness and meditation, chiropractic to kinesiology, naturopathy to homeopathy, TCM to acupuncture, therapy to coaching and NLP, body work, body-psychotherapy, core energetics, reiki, and even exploring spirituality, just to list a few. I experimented on myself, kept what worked, and kept moving. I’ve spent over $100K in the last 3 years alone!

But worth it because what a shift!! It’s taken a some time and it’s happened gradually in layers. From my physical health and energy levels to my confidence and ability to feel relaxed and connect with people both professionally and personally. All the way to my motivation and success in business. This personal development journey has impacted every aspect of my life in incredibly positive ways.

I am now pleased to say I am a true believer.

I believe in the community of coaches, therapists and healers and the incredible work they can do. And I’m incredibly grateful to all of you for devoting your life to this work, especially the amazing professionals that have supported me directly.

In particular I want to give special mention to Robert Kirby (celebrating a 30 year legacy of changing peoples lives, including mine), Rosie Chehade (the best life, wellbeing, relationship and business coach I’ve ever worked with), Cat Valentine (who patiently guided me from having a suppressed unconscious to being able to let it speak), Andrew Low (an incredible coach, trainer and friend who demonstrated by example what personal transformation could be), David Beal (who taught me a huge amount about leadership and that “together we can make a difference”), Lorien Grimmer (who opened me up to a whole new world of healers and light workers). And last but not least Daisy Nguyen (who continues to inspire me to look at everything the universe throws my way, even the shit, as nothing less than a gift and exactly what I need right now).

Thanks to the coaches, therapists and healers that have helped me transform my life, I’m now on a mission. A mission to pay the gift that has been given to me forwards to others.

A mission to heal and transform the world.

I no longer feel paralysed by fear, I feel empowered! I’m no longer stuck in the day-to-day, I’ve been unleashed. I’m ready to help tackle the big problems.

How? I believe if we can get enough people to raise their sights up from the day-to-day struggle we’ll reach a critical mass of conscious humanity, and then, it all changes.

But I know I can’t do this alone. I need your help. So I’ve been reaching out and talking to coaches, therapists and healers in my network about why they do what they do and the challenges they face. I’m going to release a report around this soon, but at a high level:

  • The good news is, our visions are all pretty much aligned. We do this to help heal and transform the world, one person or group of people at a time.
  • The main challenge is finding enough quality clients who are ready to do the work.
  • And the main blocker is navigating the technology needed to step up and achieve a greater impact.

I don’t consider myself an expert in healing and transforming the world, but I am a leader and a technologist, and I believe together we can make this happen. So for now there are two ways I will support this vision and the community:

  1. By using technology to enable and empower coaches, therapists and healers to amplify what they do and expand their positive impact on the world.
  2. By building a community of like-minded conscious leaders so we can work out innovative ways to leverage our talents and expand our positive impact together.

That’s all for now. More to follow I’m sure. If you’re with me, let me know, leave a comment, or message me.

Let’s level-up human consciousness, heal and transform the world. Together, we can make this a reality!
